Downtown Playhouse to Stage “The Woman in Black”

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – Just in time for Halloween, The Downtown Playhouse in Pocahontas will stage “The Woman in Black” this fall. The thriller will debut on Oct. 28 and have a special performance on Halloween night, and it will then run through November.

As the plot unfolds, a lawyer hires an actor to help him recount a story that has troubled him since he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse. The lawyer has invited some friends to watch as he and the actor recreate the events of that dark and stormy night.
