CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. – A woman has been found dead and her husband is under arrest, the sheriff in Cleburne County said in a statement.
On Thursday, August 31, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Batesville Police Department in reference to a deceased person call, the sheriff’s statement begins.
Investigators from the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office responded, and through the course of investigation determined that the person, later identified as Brittany Marshall, was possibly the victim of a homicide.
Her husband, Terry Marshall, was taken into custody and formal charges are pending, the sheriff said.
This case is still under investigation.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
