Uber coming to Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – Soon, it’ll be a little easier to catch a ride in Craighead County.

Uber Spokesperson Travis Considine confirmed to NEA Report on Wednesday the company would be entering the Jonesboro market beginning in August.

“We’re excited to announce that as of 12pm on Tuesday, August 1, Uber will be live in Jonesboro,” said Travis Considine. “We’ve been working to provide affordable, reliable transportation to everyone, and starting on August 1, Uber will be available in more Arkansas cities than ever.”
