Robbery at Walgreens under investigation by JPD

JONESBORO, Ark. – An armed robber is being sought by Jonesboro police late Wednesday.

At about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, a man entered Walgreens, 108 East Highland Drive in Jonesboro, JPD Information Specialist Paul Holmes said. The individual reportedly indicated he had a gun and demanded money from a clerk who was working. He then fled on foot.

No arrests have been made as of 9:25 p.m. Wednesday but JPD continues the investigation.
