JONESBORO, Ark. – A local couple’s breakup now involves police after a man alleged his ex-girlfriend poured caster oil all over his clothes.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at the Links Apartments in Jonesboro, where on Wednesday, police showed up to a call about stolen keys and damaged property. Officer Billy Anderson with Jonesboro Police Department arrived and spoke with the resident. The man, 31, said his ex-girlfriend and he had recently gone through a split and she had come to the apartment to retrieve her things.
She also retrieved some level of revenge, if the man’s story is correct.
The 21-year-old allegedly poured black caster oil all over some of the man’s clothes. Then, she was said to have stolen his keys to his vehicle, apartment and mailbox.
She could face charges of misdemeanor theft for taking the keys and criminal mischief for the property destruction.
