
JONESBORO, Ark. – If you see a large amount of copper wiring in the possession of someone and it makes no sense, you might tip off Jonesboro Police Department
At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, JPD was dispatched to a construction site at the 2400-block of Ritter Drive. There, a site supervisor said between 4:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday morning, someone entered the structure which was being built and stole around 450 feet of copper wiring.
The culprits also damaged the wiring box as they were cutting the wire.
The construction site is in a darkened corner of Ritter Drive, according to Officer Gary Jackson. Extra patrols have been requested during night time hours for the location.
This is the second incident reported at the site.
