JONESBORO, Ark. – While most were sleeping at 3 a.m., at least one was up to no good on Highway 1 South of Jonesboro.
Craighead County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call at approximately 3:02 a.m. as the burglar alarm at Seductions on Highway 1 South began to sound. He arrived, making contact with the manager, who had just also arrived.
The manager got into the business before the deputy, noticing shelving turned over onto a desk, with broken glass in the floor. As the deputy entered the scene, he reported multiple items had been thrown from the shelf after it was turned over.
After checking the exterior of the building where the shelf was located inside, the deputy found where a window had been broken out. He told the manager to return to her vehicle and called for backup to clear the business. Nothing else was reported once the other deputy arrived.
Photos were taken of the scene with information gathered for an investigation.
The perpetrator(s) faces felony charges of commercial burglary and first degree criminal mischief damaging property of another with value over $1,000, but less than $5,000.
