JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities found a woman asleep in a laundry room early Monday morning – and reportedly found meth on her after a search.
At about 2:50 a.m. Monday morning, Jonesboro Police Department was dispatched to 1011 Rains Street in Jonesboro for a welfare check on a “white female sleeping in the second floor laundry room.” Police arrived and made contact with Denielle L. Pease, 30, of Jonesboro, who said she was waiting on a friend staying in the complex to wake her up.

The officer asked for consent to search the woman and she complied with his request. After searching her purse, the officer reported finding a Pall Mall cigarette pack with a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe with suspected meth residue on it.
Pease was arrested and transported to Craighead County Detention Center for felony possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in jail as of 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.
