
JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspicious woman in the driveway of a Craighead County resident was arrested after the vehicle she was in was learned to be stolen, the report said.
At about 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Craighead County Sheriff’s Department dispatched Deputy Jeania Burns to Craighead County Road 745. When she arrived, the report states, she met a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville, cream-colored, driven by Jennifer L. Cutler, 32, of Paragould.
The deputy stopped the vehicle and spoke with Cutler, who first said the vehicle was her brother’s but then said it was her sister’s. Burns had already ran the license plate number on the vehicle and learned it was reported stolen from Paragould, as the report details. Cutler was placed in handcuffs and arrested.
The suspect was taken to Craighead County Detention Center and booked to face a felony charge of theft by receiving. She will be in Craighead County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
The report states drugs were suspected to be involved in the suspect’s behavior.
Paragould Police Department contacted the owner of the vehicle to return it. The vehicle was listed in good condition when recovered.
