Arkansas State gets national press for first win

JONESBORO, Ark. – Georgia Southern was ahead of Arkansas State in the fourth quarter. It wasn’t looking good for A-State.

The Red Wolves weren’t hearing it.

The awesome twisting, turning touchdown catch is making waves in the national media. ESPN had a segment on the come from behind win.

And for those of you who are brave, a Google search of “Arkansas State Georgia Southern” also yields results from Georgia’s sports opinion writers. Let’s just say they’re not very happy this morning.

According to the Arkansas State Facebook page, it’s been 687 days since the Red Wolves have lost a football game to a Sun Belt opponent.
