Two killed in Sharp County crash

SHARP COUNTY, Ark. – Two were killed in an accident in Sharp County on Monday, Arkansas State Police reported.

Zachary Michael Alliss, 24, and Rayn Malia Alliss, 22, both of Highland, died as a result of the accident. It happened at about 6:12 p.m. Monday evening on U.S. Highway 63 in Sharp County. The accident report from ASP says their 2006 Kia Optima was headed north and left the roadway while negotiating a curve.

The vehicle then crashed into a tree.

The report states the injured were taken to The Med in Memphis, Tenn., but does not specify whom. Both passed away as a result of the accident.

Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident the trooper reported.
