
REYNO, Ark. – A young man from Reyno was killed in a wreck Thursday in Randolph County.
It happened Thursday night just before midnight, when Keeven Pankey, 22, of Reyno, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet eastbound on Highway 328. About one and a half miles east of the Current River Bridge, Pankey’s vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, according to the Arkansas State Police crash report.
The Chevy struck a ditch and flipped, ejecting the driver from the wreckage. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the conditions were clear and dry, the reporting officer said.
The body was taken to McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas.
