Suspects target burnt Bono home

BONO, Ark. – A home which burned down became involved in another less-than-ideal situation, with burglars taking a number of valuable tools from the location in Bono.

Craighead County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to 2994 Craighead Road 324 for a residential burglary call Wednesday. The house, which burnt last year, was not rebuilt, according to the owner.

Despite this, within the past week, the owner reported a person or persons breaking into the house and shop building, taking two Troybilt Tillers, a planer, a push mower and a Snap On tool box with tools.

A third tiller was taken out of the shop but left in the yard, according to the report.

Authorities are investigating the incident and adding patrols to the residence. Suspects face felony burglary charges.
