Trumann Town Hall to Focus on Community Resources, Lighting and Recreation

TRUMANN, Ark. — Residents will have an opportunity to discuss community resources, lighting improvements and Trumann’s recreational future during a town hall meeting next week.

The Community Town Hall Meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at The Church of Hope, 305 W. Main St.

Organizers plan to introduce Trumann Connect, a new online resource hub designed to help residents find community information, services and public resources.

The meeting will also revisit topics raised during previous town halls. Discussions will include existing decorative lighting ideas that could improve illumination throughout the city and in local subdivisions.

Residents will also be asked what types of parks, recreational programs and facilities they would like to see developed in Trumann.

The meeting is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring questions, ideas and other topics for discussion.

Organizers said no official city business will be conducted during the meeting. The town halls are intended to gather community input and help local officials better understand residents’ priorities.
