JONESBORO, Ark. Two suspects were arrested after a probation search at a Jonesboro hotel room allegedly turned up more than 14 grams of suspected methamphetamine, syringes, pills, and other paraphernalia, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Amanda Gail Brown, 49, of Jonesboro, and Faith Amanda Miller, 42, of Trumann, were each arrested on April 8, 2026, on charges of possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with the purpose to deliver greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams, a Class A felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class B felony; and possession.
According to the affidavit, Officers Scott Martin and James Johnson made contact with Miller at Econo Lodge, 2406 Phillips Drive, after learning she was on active probation and had a room in her name. Officers knocked on the room, and Miller answered the door.
Police said officers told Miller they were there to conduct a probation search. When they entered the room, they saw Brown lying on the bed. Brown told officers she was also on parole, according to the affidavit.
Investigators said a search of the room led officers to a pink zipper pouch under the mattress and box spring. Inside, police allegedly found two clear baggies of suspected methamphetamine that later weighed 11 grams and 2.6 grams.
Police also reported finding two silicone tubs containing suspected methamphetamine, one later weighed at 0.9 grams and the other at 0.4 grams. Officers also allegedly found three syringes loaded with 27 ml of liquid methamphetamine each and another with 14 ml.
According to the affidavit, officers also located a used methamphetamine pipe with burnt residue, a metal can with seven small ziplock baggies, a package containing common cold pills identified as pseudoephedrine, another package containing syringes, and 11 suspected Klonopin pills.
Brown and Miller were both arrested and transported to the Craighead County Detention Center, according to police.
Each suspect’s bail was set at $100,000 cash or surety. Brown was also being held on a parole violation. Both are scheduled to appear in court again on May 18.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
