LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A routine lottery ticket purchase landed one Arkansas player his biggest win yet.
Jamie Mann, a Mountain Home resident, won $120,000 in the April 3 Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawing. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on April 7.
The winning ticket was sold at 403 Highway 62 E. in Mountain Home, and the winning numbers were 7, 13, 16, 20 and 37.
Mann is a daily lottery player with a preference for draw games and the occasional instant ticket. He decided to buy the winning NSJ ticket on Friday, opting for a Quick Pick ticket with computer-generated numbers.
Lucky for Mann, his ticket matched all five numbers needed to win that night’s $120,000 jackpot.
Mann discovered his win a few days after the drawing when he saw a Facebook post announcing that the winning ticket was sold in Mountain Home. He decided to check his numbers while at work, and to his surprise, he had won the $120,000 jackpot.
“Wow!” Mann thought.
Ecstatic about the prize, Mann first shared the good news with his office manager.
The lucky winner plans to work on several ongoing projects with his prize.
The jackpot for tonight’s NSJ drawing is $75,000.
