JONESBORO, Ark. — A child was injured in an accidental Friday in Jonesboro.
It happened in the 400 block of N Patrick around 4:30 PM, according to Sally Smith, JPD’s Public Information Official.
Officers responded to an accidental shooting of a juvenile. According to police, a younger sibling got an unsecured weapon and discharged the gun.
The victim is alert and has been transported to an area hospital, Smith said. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
