Two Arrested After Probation Search Uncovers Marijuana, Firearms at Jonesboro Home

JONESBORO, Ark. — Two suspects were arrested following a probation-related investigation at a Jonesboro residence that police say led to the discovery of a large quantity of marijuana and multiple firearms.

According to a probable-cause affidavit, officers with the Jonesboro Police Department were conducting surveillance on a residence in the 800 block of W. Monroe Street on Feb. 7, 2026, after receiving information that two occupants were on felony probation and allegedly selling narcotics from the home.

Officers reported observing a white GMC Yukon parked in the driveway for an extended period without occupants. Police later observed Allen George Hawkins exit the residence and enter the Yukon. Officers made contact with Hawkins and conducted contact at the residence.

Hawkins confirmed to officers that he was on felony probation. A probation search of the Yukon reportedly led to the discovery of approximately 1,826 grams, or about 4.02 pounds, of marijuana packaged in five separate vacuum-sealed bags. Hawkins was taken into custody.

While on scene, officers made contact with another male suspect at the front door, later identified as Jordan Nikolas Casey, who officers also knew to be on felony probation. Police advised Casey to come outside. Officers reported observing a firearm in Casey’s waistband as he turned to go back into the residence.

Officers secured the residence and conducted a probation search. Casey was taken into custody, and officers seized a Glock 26 pistol from his person. Police reported the firearm had an extended magazine containing 25 rounds. The affidavit states the firearm was confirmed to be stolen out of Springfield.

A second firearm was also located inside the residence near another male occupant who was not on felony probation. Police noted the firearm was not stolen, and no one claimed ownership of either weapon. Both firearms were seized.

Casey and Hawkins were transported to the Craighead County Detention Center.

Jordan Nikolas Casey, 24, was arrested for possession of a firearm by certain persons with a prior violent felony involving a deadly weapon, a Class B felony; theft by receiving a firearm valued at less than $2,500, a Class D felony; misdemeanor possession; and a probation violation. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. His next court date is March 20.

Allen George Hawkins, 31, was arrested for possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with purpose to deliver, a Class C felony. His bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety. Court records note Hawkins was on felony probation and had two prior failures to appear. His next court date is March 20.
