Jonesboro Suspect Arrested in Residential Burglary and Theft Case

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro teenager has been arrested in connection with a residential burglary and theft investigation, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Jonesboro Police Department.

According to the affidavit, officers responded Oct. 28, 2025, to a residence on Glitterman Drive in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. Officers were initially unable to locate the alleged victim, who was involved in an argument with other individuals at an address on Saddlecrest Drive.

When officers later spoke with the victim, she reported several items had been stolen from her residence. The victim stated she was able to identify a suspect from camera footage captured at the time of the theft but was unable to provide the individual’s name. She told officers the suspect entered her home through an unlocked window and stole multiple items, including a PS5 gaming system and a pair of stolen shoes, according to the affidavit.

After being assigned the case, an officer contacted the victim for further information. The victim advised that her banking card had been stolen and she was notified of suspicious activity at a local travel center, the affidavit states.

The officer then contacted the homeowner at the Saddlecrest Drive address, who provided the names of Amaron Webb and Aaron Ishmon as the suspects, according to the affidavit. The homeowner told police that she had video footage from her residence showing Webb and Ishmon returning to her residence with the stolen property, and that they were friends of her son.

During an interview with the homeowner and her son, officers were shown videos of Webb and Ishmon leaving Saddlecrest Drive and later returning with the stolen items, the affidavit states. The homeowner also told officers that while she was dropping her sister off at work, Webb and Ishmon stopped at a local travel center. The son told officers the two had been asked to stop at the travel center.

Officers later confirmed that both Webb and Ishmon entered the business during the time the victim’s banking card was fraudulently used. The affidavit states the card was attempted to be used but the transaction was declined because the correct PIN was not entered at the time of use.

The affidavit states a warrant was later issued for Webb’s and Ishmon’s arrest.

Aaron Deshun Ishmon, 19, of Jonesboro, was charged with residential burglary, a Class B felony; theft of property involving credit or debit cards, a Class D felony; and theft. District Judge David Boling set Ishmon’s bail at $50,000 cash or surety.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
