Woman Accused of Filing False Report After Man’s Arrest in Infant Neglect Case in Jonesboro

JONESBORO — A 27-year-old woman who previously reported that an infant had been left outside for about 30 minutes is now accused of lying to police, according to a newly filed probable cause affidavit.

Lyrica Maisha Noble, 27, is charged with filing a false report with a law enforcement agency, a Class D felony. Judge David Boling set her bail at $15,000 cash or surety. Her next court date is Jan. 23.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Noble went to the police station on Nov. 21, 2025, to discuss the earlier incident. Two days before, officers had arrested Larry Donell Lee, 22, of Blytheville, for first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor — a Class D felony — based on statements Noble had provided.

At the time, Noble claimed she was not home when Lee returned their infant. She told officers Lee left the child on the front doorstep and that she could not get home for approximately 30 minutes. Noble reported that when she arrived, she found the child crying in a car seat with vomit on them.

During an interview on Nov. 21, investigators said Noble admitted she had actually been at her residence the entire time Lee was trying to contact her. She said that when Lee informed her the child had been left outside, she was already home and immediately brought the infant inside.

Detectives said her admission confirmed that the original report she gave to police was false, which had contributed to a felony warrant being issued for Lee and his subsequent arrest.

Following the interview, Noble was taken into custody and transported to the Craighead County Detention Center.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
