Break-Ins Span Multiple Blytheville Neighborhoods; Two Adults, Four Juveniles Accused

BLYTHEVILLE — Police say a series of break-ins across several Blytheville neighborhoods this month has led to arrests of two adults and two juveniles, with two additional juveniles identified and facing pending charges, according to information released by the Blytheville Police Department.

Investigators said reports of homes and vehicles being broken into began around Nov. 3. On Nov. 9, officers responded to another residential break-in where multiple guns were reported stolen. Police said Justin Richardson, 34, and Jamashaey Richardson, 24, both of Blytheville, were identified as suspects in that case.

According to police, Justin Richardson was arrested and charged with residential burglary, possession of a firearm by certain persons, and various traffic offenses. Jamashaey Richardson was arrested on two counts of breaking or entering, residential burglary, theft of property, theft of property–firearm, and tampering with physical evidence.

Around Nov. 25, police said they began receiving new reports of vehicle break-ins in several areas, including Country Club Estates, Briarcrest Estates, and Terry Lane. Two juveniles were taken into custody in connection with those incidents and charged with multiple counts of breaking or entering and theft of property. Two other juveniles have been identified, and charges are pending.

Detectives believe the same group may be tied to additional break-ins in Broadmoor Estates, Foxcrossing, the Tennessee Street area and Parkside.

Police are urging residents to lock vehicles, remove valuables — especially firearms — and report suspicious activity. The department thanked residents who provided video and cooperated with investigators.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
