Jonesboro Rolls Out Full 2025 Holiday Season Lineup With Parades, Lights, Concerts and Family Events

JONESBORO, Ark. — As Jonesboro welcomes the 2025 Holiday Season, the city is once again brimming with festive cheer! Thanks to numerous community groups, sponsors, and city partners, there’s a seasonal calendar packed with family-friendly events to spread holiday cheer that not even Scrooge himself can resist.

Christmas at the Park officially opens at 5:30pm on the evening of November 26 with opening night, kicking off the magic of the drive-thru lights displays. The Christmas at the Park 2025 Schedule runs from November 26 through December 23, with sponsor highlight nights, special events, and holiday offerings throughout the season, including a “Pay What You Can Night” on Wednesday, December 3, thanks to areawide sponsors. The “Pay What You Can Night” provides opportunity for all residents to enjoy the experience of the holiday lights display at a discounted rate, or free. A-State’s Sounds of the Season Choir concert takes place at 7:30pm on December 4 at the Fowler Center’s Riceland Hall located at 201 Olympic Drive. The Arkansas State University’s Choirs and guests will perform carols and holiday songs for a program journeying through the feelings and emotions experienced throughout the holidays. The annual Jonesboro Christmas Parade is scheduled for 7pm on Friday, December 5. The beloved community tradition celebrates 78 years with a “Sweet Treats on Main Street – A Candy Christmas” theme and is back on Main Street- running north to south along Main Street, ending at Oak Avenue. You won’t want to miss out on the parade fun featuring 60+ parade participants, the performance zone, and a designated ADA viewing area. Downtown Jonesboro JoyFest begins at 3pm on Saturday, December 6 at Union Park in Downtown Jonesboro. The award-winning “Festival of the Year” by the Arkansas Recreation & Parks Association features a Hallmark Christmas-like event and will include the annual lighting of the RightFiber 64 ft. Christmas tree at 5:30pm, live music, a kids’ zone, over 50 local vendors, and more- at no cost to attendees. Low-cost rides include a Ferris wheel, teacups, miniature train, ice rink, and carousel. Winter Wonderland and The First Community Bank Wonderland Rink by the City of Jonesboro’s Parks and Recreation Department will open on December 6. Winter Wonderland will run through December 23 at 215 W. Monroe Ave., with The First Community Bank Wonderland Rink and concessions opened through December 31. With hours open daily and free admission to Winter Wonderland, there is opportunity for all to enjoy Holiday fun! Activities offered such as the Ferris wheel, ice-skating, and train rides are at a minimal fee, with costs between $2-$5/per person. The Delta Symphony Orchestra will host “Enchanted by the Sounds of Christmas” from 3-5pm on December 14 at the Fowler Center, located at 201 Olympic Drive. The Delta Symphony Orchestra will perform holiday classics accompanied by guests Myrika Kyriakos and Trent Broussard as vocalists. Included in the evening’s festivities, jolly ‘ole Santa Claus himself will lead a sing-along. The Foundation of Arts performances of “Elf: The Musical, Jr.” will take place on December 19-22 at the Forum Theater at 115 E. Monroe Ave. The musical production follows Buddy, a human accidentally raised by North Pole elves. Once learning of his past, Buddy travels to New York City to find his real father and helps us discover the meaning of Christmas.
