Craighead County Suspect Accused of Selling Meth in Undercover Drug Task Force Operation

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Craighead County suspect was arrested after investigators said she sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant as part of an undercover operation by the Second Judicial District Drug Task Force.

According to a probable cause affidavit, 35-year-old Kimberly Nicole Braswell was arrested on Tuesday, October 21, for delivery of methamphetamine or cocaine greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams, a Class Y felony, and offenses related to records, maintaining a drug premises, etc., a Class C felony.

Investigators said agents used a confidential source to arrange a buy with Braswell at her residence on County Road 114 in Craighead County. The source, equipped with recording equipment and $250 in Arkansas State Police buy money, met with Braswell and purchased approximately one ounce of suspected methamphetamine.

Agents said surveillance video showed Braswell exchanging the drugs for cash during the hand-to-hand transaction. The suspected narcotics later tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 29.2 grams, according to the report.

The operation occurred in August 2025.

Braswell’s bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety. The judge noted she is currently on probation with prior convictions from May 2025 and January 2023.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court.
