Searcy Man Arrested on 60 Child Exploitation Charges

SEARCY, Ark. — A Searcy man has been arrested on 60 counts of child exploitation charges following a police investigation.

According to the Searcy Police Department, detectives received a complaint that led to an investigation involving Quentin Andrew Whaley, 37, of Searcy. Investigators executed a search warrant at his residence as part of the case.

On Aug. 29, 2025, detectives determined there was probable cause to arrest Whaley. He is being charged with 60 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, under Ark. Code Ann. § 5-27-602.

Jail records show bail was set at $150,000.

Police said the case remains under active investigation.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
