JONESBORO — Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a truck stop at knifepoint Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 8:21 p.m. at the Love’s Travel Stop in Jonesboro, according to Public Information Specialist Sally Smith with the Jonesboro Police Department. A man entered the store, brandished a knife and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A witness reported seeing the suspect run toward the back of the parking lot before losing sight of him.
The suspect is described only as a Black male. No further description was available.
