PARAGOULD, Ark. — A woman was arrested Saturday night in Paragould following a domestic dispute involving her mother and two juvenile family members.
The probable cause affidavit from the Paragould Police Department states that police responded to a call at approximately 9:19 p.m. on January 4, 2025, to Phillips Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant who said that her adult daughter, Sarah Bradshaw, had yelled and cursed at her two grandsons, one of whom Sarah allegedly grabbed by the arm while shouting at him.
The complainant reported that she locked herself and the boys in a bedroom to avoid further confrontation. Sarah then allegedly threatened to kick down the door but ultimately gained access without causing damage.
When interviewed, Sarah denied the allegations and claimed that her mother neglected the boys while spending excessive time in her room playing video games.
The officer also spoke to the boys with permission. The youngest reported being grabbed by the arm and flung to the floor, though no injuries were observed. The oldest stated that Sarah’s behavior made him feel scared.
Based on the information gathered, Sarah Bradshaw, 26, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault on a family or household member, a misdemeanor. She was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for booking. On Monday, Judge Dan Stidham set bail at $2,500 cash or surety, with conditions including a no-contact order and an order not to possess any weapons.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
