Authorities Investigate Monday Afternoon Shooting in Brookland

BROOKLAND, Ark. — A shooting incident occurred Monday afternoon in Brookland, with no injuries reported.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the 300 block of South Oak Street in Brookland, according to Detective Dustin Norwood with the Brookland Police Department.

Norwood said no injuries were known to have occurred in the incident.

No other details were released about the incident. The detective described the case as a “very active investigation.”
