PARAGOULD, Ark. — Two suspects face numerous charges after authorities believe they damaged and stole items from businesses in Greene County.
On October 13, Greene County sheriff’s deputies responded to Thompson Auto Sales, 4711 US 49 N. The owner reported damage to his business, with deputies documenting damage to three windows, two window air conditioners, a desk, and a pickup truck in the parking lot.
The same day, deputies investigated a similar incident at Edge Auto Sales & Service, 4043 US 49 N. There, deputies documented damage to the front door, missing tools greater than $5,000 in value, and a stolen truck belonging to a customer.
Later that day, deputies located the suspects, Caden Morgan and Georgia York, in a stolen vehicle, according to the probable cause affidavit. They found items that were stolen from Thompson Auto Sales and items stolen from Edge Auto Sales.
Detectives interviewed Morgan and other occupants of the stolen vehicle. The other occupants reportedly named Morgan and York the persons who picked them up in the stolen truck. A pink backpack in the back of the truck belonged to York, identified in the affidavit as Morgan’s girlfriend, who was placed with Morgan around the time of the incidents.
Caden Morgan, 24, was arrested later in the day.
On October 20, Georgia York, 32, was arrested, too.

For the incident at Thompsons, Morgan and York face a charge of commercial burglary, a Class C felony; theft of property and first-degree criminal mischief, Class A misdemeanors; and criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond in this case was set at $25,000, to run consecutive with the next case.
For the second incident, Morgan and York face charges including commercial burglary; theft of property, a Class C felony; and misdemeanors for criminal mischief and criminal trespass. The bond was set at $30,000 consecutive to the previous bond.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
