JONESBORO, Ark. – The famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses are headed to NEA. However, the schedule has been adjusted so if you plan to see them, be sure to check the times!

The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will soon make a stop in Arkansas as part of their national tour celebrating the 14th anniversary of Budweiser’s partnership with Folds of Honor. This nonprofit organization provides scholarships to families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders.

The team will pass through Jonesboro on their way to Newport. The public can view the team from 10 AM to NOON on Saturday, June 29 at 101 2nd Street in Newport. An event page has been set up on Facebook.

Note: The event, previously scheduled from 2 PM to 4 PM, was rescheduled on Thursday

This tour aims to promote Folds of Honor’s mission, featuring appearances at various military events, air shows, fleet weeks, sporting events, and state fairs.

In Newport, the team will deliver to local businesses, and C & C Distributors, Inc., the local Anheuser-Busch wholesaler, will present a Folds of Honor scholarship to Darion Reaves Mason, an Arkansas State University senior majoring in agriculture.

Since the beginning of this partnership, Anheuser-Busch and its affiliates have donated $28 million, funding over 5,000 educational scholarships. To support the scholarship fund, purchasing Budweiser with the 2024 limited-edition patriotic packaging will contribute a portion of the proceeds to Folds of Honor. This promotion runs through Labor Day.
