Man Charged with Several Sex Crimes Allegedly Involving Children

CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. – A man is accused of charges including rape, child sexual abuse material, and video voyeurism after a report in Cleburne County to the sheriff’s office.

A press release from the sheriff said on March 11, 2024, detectives took a walk-in report at the sheriff’s office.  The complainant reported that she had found a hidden camera in a bathroom that her juvenile children use and had concerns that her husband may have been using the camera to obtain nude photos of the juveniles.

During the course of the investigation, it was alleged that the complainant might have also been raped by her husband.

Based on statements and other evidence, detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the suspect’s residence. Multiple items were seized.

The suspect, Rustey Williams, 41 of Drasco, was located later that day and arrested.

He is being held in the Cleburne County Jail on a $500,000 bond for Rape, three counts of Video Voyeurism, Sexual Extortion, Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material and Possessing an Illegal Still.

The investigation is still ongoing.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
