CORNING, Ark. – The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will hold a public involvement meeting on Thursday, March 14, from 4-7 p.m. to present detailed design plans for the Corning Bypass, a news release announced this week..
The bypass, a 4.1-mile new location roadway, will extend north from Highway 62/67 west of Corning and terminate north of Corning on Highway 67 in Clay County. Designed to interstate standards, the bypass will be a fully controlled access facility.
The meeting will take place in person at the M.B. Ainley Community Center (Gym), located at 538 E. Elm Street in Corning. Meeting materials will be available online starting Friday, March 8, although the link to the materials will not be active until that date.
The public can view meeting materials and provide written comments online until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29. A Spanish translation of the presentation will be accessible on the website.
