Thousands of Dollars in Scratch-Off Lottery Cards Stolen at Jonesboro Gas Station

JONESBORO, Ark. – On Friday morning, a local gas station in Jonesboro fell victim to a theft resulting in the loss of thousands of dollars worth of scratch-off lottery cards.

This incident occurred between 9 AM and 10 AM on September 22 at the Citgo gas station situated at 5514 S. Stadium Boulevard. According to the police report, a white 17-year-old female suspect entered the store and absconded with both cash and a significant quantity of scratch-off lottery tickets before departing the scene.

$2,300 in scratch-off tickets were reported stolen. It wasn’t clear if they had been activated yet before being taken from the store.

Authorities are treating this incident as a felony theft and have initiated an investigation.
