Residential Burglary on Dara Drive Sees Firearms, Laptop Stolen; Jonesboro Police Seek Leads

JONESBORO, Ark. — A large theft occurred during a residential burglary reported this week in Jonesboro, where firearms and a laptop were stolen.

The incident happened between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 at a residence in the 1800 block of Dara Drive. A resident returned home to find all the doors suspiciously open. Upon entering her bedroom to retrieve her pistol, she discovered two of her firearms and a laptop had been stolen.

The victim believes the suspect entered through the back door, which was left open.

The value of the stolen items exceeds $1,000, making the theft a felony.

The case is inactive pending further leads. Anyone with information that could aid investigators is urged to contact the police.
