JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro man was taken into custody after he allegedly attempted to run over two individuals with his car.
The incident and subsequent arrest took place between 8:40 PM and 9:36 PM on July 28 at the intersection of Forest Hill Road and Harrisburg Road in Jonesboro. The police were dispatched to the scene following a call about a man allegedly trying to run someone over with a vehicle.
Despite the case being masked under investigation, law enforcement arrested 47-year-old Dale Edward Brookreson of Jonesboro. Brookreson was charged with felony aggravated assault and a misdemeanor for driving with a suspended license.
Two victims, aged 20 and 25, are named in the police report. Neither is reported to have sustained injuries from the incident.
