
JONESBORO, Ark. — A man attending a Sunday morning church service in Jonesboro found his truck missing when he returned outside, according to authorities.
The theft occurred between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m. on July 16 at the South Caraway Baptist Church, located at 3707 South Caraway Road. The victim, a 68-year-old man, left his keys inside his truck when he went inside the church for the service. Approximately 15 minutes later, another churchgoer questioned the man about the location of his vehicle. The man subsequently discovered his truck was missing.
The stolen vehicle is described as a white 1999 GMC Sierra pickup. Authorities have since entered the vehicle’s information into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database as stolen.
Despite checking footage from a nearby SkyCop surveillance camera, police have yet to identify any leads.
At this time, authorities have no information on potential suspects.
