CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. – A tragic incident claimed the life of a young male earlier this week in Cleburne County.
Deputies from the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Damsite Park on at about 11 AM on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, in response to a reported incident. The call indicated that a juvenile male had fallen off a 40-foot bluff. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered a family member performing CPR on the injured individual.
Emergency medical personnel from Survival Flight arrived at the scene to assume medical care and transport the victim to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite the efforts made, the juvenile male was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.
