JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro man was arrested this week after an encounter with the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force.

It began around 2:25 PM on April 10 at the 400-block of Copperstone Drive, the report with JPD said. Jonesboro officers arrived on scene to assist the drug task force. Much of the police report was masked under investigative status.

However, officers arrested Cheyne Michael Mayali, 33, of Jonesboro, on charges including possession of meth or cocaine, felony warrant and out of town warrant, fleeing, and resisting arrest.

Police found a large clear crystal rock of suspected methamphetamine and a set of black digital scales at the scene.
