Family Dollar/Dollar Tree coming to Lake City

Lake City will soon be getting a new shopping option.

Family Dollar/Dollar Tree will begin construction on a combo-store soon, Mayor Cameron Tate announced on social media Wednesday. They’re hoping for a January, 2023 completion date.

It will be located at Hickory and Highway 18, Tate told NEA Report.

The mayor called it great news for Lake City, and thanked the Holden Family, Strobbe and Co., and Family Dollar for making it happen.

Family Dollar’s website describes the combo stores as two great options coming together.
