A Bay man was arrested on Wednesday after a nearly three month investigation that began as an online CyberTip regarding alleged child porn.
On June 23, Officers with JPD Internet Crimes against Children Division received a CyberTip containing suspect information linked to an IP address from northeast Arkansas that had downloaded child pornography. Investigators have been working on the case since, JPD said in a release.

On Wednesday morning morning, officers with JPD’s ICAC Division, Street Crimes Unit, and SWAT TEAM executed a search warrant on a home in Bay. Timothy Spence was arrested upon completion of the search.

Spence went before Judge Ellington for a Probable Cause hearing. A $50,000 cash/surety bond was set for his release.
