JONESBORO, Ark. – Maintenance work to improve the Harrisburg Road Bridge over Interstate 555 in Jonesboro will require lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) officials.
Weather permitting; crews will be cleaning and painting the Harrisburg Road Bridge and will alternately close a single lane of traffic on I-555 through November. The work was set to begin on Monday, October 30 at 7:00 a.m, a release said.
Lane closures will occur 24 hours a day until the project is complete, which is estimated to be 1 month.
Traffic will be controlled by signage, message boards and traffic drums. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov.
