BLACK ROCK, Ark. – A field fire damaged a tractor and threatened several horses before being contained Thursday afternoon in Black Rock, a fire source said.
It happened on Clear Springs Road off of County Road 221, a firefighter at the scene told NEA Report. He also sent along several photos, posted to our Facebook page.
Several horses were in the field which caught on fire. One jumped a fence before being corralled back into control. A spark from a mower hitting a rock was said to be the cause by sources at the scene.
