
JONESBORO, Ark. – Three suspects have been arrested in a reported aggravated robbery of Papa John’s Pizza on Caraway Rd. on 8/1/2017.
Nakita Branch, 20, of Jonesboro and Devins Smith, 18, also of Jonesboro, have been arrested and are being held on the charges of Theft Greater Than $1000 and Conspiracy to Commit an Offense.
Steven Kennedy, 23, of Jonesboro, an employee of Papa John’s and the original complainant in the case, was arrested and is being held on the charges of Theft Greater Than $1000, Conspiracy to Commit an Offense, and Filing a False Police Report.
All three have been given temporary bonds and will have a probable cause hearing on 8/2/2017.
Jonesboro police are continuing their investigation into this case.
Police responded to a complaint that a man armed with a pistol entered the Papa John’s Pizza store on South Caraway Road at 3 a.m. Monday, demanded money from an employee and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
