$23,000 worth of meth confiscated in Cleburne County

HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – An investigation from June, just released to NEA Report, yielded $23,000 in crystal meth being taken off of the streets in Cleburne County.

During the month of June, 2017, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office received information about two individuals selling large amounts of crystal methamphetamine throughout Cleburne County, a release said. After receiving the information, an investigation was opened to identify the suspects and their illicit drug dealing.

The investigation was concluded on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 when investigators with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, Heber Springs Police Department and the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the suspects' residence.

Upon execution of the warrant approximately 234 grams of crystal methamphetamine carrying an approximate street value of $23,000.00 was recovered along with $2,440.00 in cash. Two suspects were arrested were identified as Shannon Kay Mamagona, 30, of Heber Springs, and Jonathan Allen Haward, 35, of Heber Springs.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
