GASSVILLE, Ark. – A Mountain Home man was killed this week when he crossed Highway 62 on foot at Gassville.
It happened at the city limits of Gassville on Sunday, the Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary said. At 11:17 p.m. Sunday, July 16, Joshua Wilkerson, 34, of Mountain Home, was hit by a 2006 Chevrolet truck headed westbound on Highway 62.
The report said Wilkerson was crossing the highway from the north side on foot.
Road conditions were dry and weather was clear at the time the accident. The driver of the truck wasn’t injured.
