TRUMANN, Ark. – A new medical option will soon be available in Poinsett County.
Haag Brown Commercial announced the news Wednesday in a press release regarding the development of a new, state-of-the-art medical facility for NEA Baptist Clinic along I-555 in Trumann, Arkansas. The medical office will be located on Industrial Park Access Road at the entrance of the Orscheln Farm and Home store adjoining the Wal-Mart Super Center.
“We have been working on moving the Trumann NEA Baptist Clinic to a larger, more visible and easily accessible location for several years and are thrilled that it is finally a reality,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal, Joshua Brown. “This addition will allow NEA Baptist to provide expanded services and conveniences for their patients. Several amazing physicians have recently been added to the Trumann clinic and we are excited to usher them into a nice new facility.”
Monday, Haag-Brown Development, LLC signed a long-term lease with NEA Baptist Clinic. The clinic will continue to operate out of their downtown location on Main Street until construction on the new building is complete.
“We look forward to providing our patients with better access to our clinic and providers in Trumann,” stated Brad Parsons, administrator and CEO of NEA Baptist. “We have a great team that provides exceptional care to our patients in this community. I am appreciative of the partnership we have with Haag Brown Commercial to make this happen.”
The 7,000 square foot medical office will sit on 1.2 acres adjacent to Unico Bank. The facility will feature a large waiting room, 15 exam rooms and 4 physician offices. The clinic is anticipated to be complete in the first quarter of 2018. NEA Baptist is also working on plans to move the Physical Therapy program housed in the current family practice clinic to a location near the new clinic.
This property is one of three Wal-Mart out-parcels that Haag Brown Commercial has on the market. The second parcel, between Wal-Mart and McDonalds, is currently pending sale, leaving the final parcel, a 1.27 acre tract in front of Orscheln, available.
