JONESBORO, Ark. – At least two times, a UPS truck driver in Jonesboro has noticed his truck being shot with a BB or pellet.
He made a report at 9 a.m. Tuesday with Jonesboro Police Department about the latest incident. The officer was told while the man was at work, an unknown person shot his vehicle with an air rifle. The suspect shot above the driver side rear-wheel fender. The officer noticed the damage as appearing to come from a pellet or BB.
The man also reported one of their UPS trucks was shot with an air rifle just prior to this incident. While checking it out, the man noticed his personal vehicle had also been a target.
Officer Nicholas Dumond said it appears the shooter may have shot from the tree line just west of the parked vehicle.
