DYESS, Ark. – An event full of history will launch its new chapter in 2017 as the Johnny Cash Heritage Festival and on Monday, the lineup will be revealed.
The daughter of the late iconic Johnny Cash, Rosanne Cash, will be in person to announce the talent lineup regarding the Johnny Cash Heritage Festival.
The press conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the Dyess Colony Visitors Center, 110 Center Drive.
The new event is a spin-off of the Johnny Cash Music Fest and will be held in Dyess at the historic colony site. Press releases and conferences suggest the event will combine educational activities in Dyess, as well as entertainment and special events. It continues the legacy of the earlier concert series held in Jonesboro.
The festival is Oct. 19-21 (Thursday through Saturday) in Dyess.
