JONESBORO, Ark. – NEA Baptist Clinic is pleased to announce Michelle Wilcox has accepted the position of controller for NEA Baptist Clinic. In this role, Michelle is responsible for the financial statements of the clinic and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Wilcox stated, “I am enthusiastic to become part of the team at NEA Baptist Clinic.”
Michelle Wilcox received both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She worked as an accountant for the MFL Corporation for 11 years and most recently as the Principal and Chief Financial Officer at Stuck Associates for 13 years. She was the first female shareholder to become an equal partner with the firm at Stuck Associates.
“I have known Michelle for many years and I am excited that she has joined us as the clinic controller. Michelle has a proven record of great work ethic, a solid grasp of generally accepted accounting principles and is always willing to take on new challenges. We are lucky to have her on our team,” said Ben Barylske, chief financial officer, NEA Baptist Clinic.
Wilcox is a lifetime resident of Northeast Arkansas and lives in Bono with her husband, Lance Wilcox. She volunteers her accounting services for the ASU Student Nurses Association and was a member of the Jonesboro Professional Women organization for 11 years, serving in such capacities as secretary and treasurer.
