JONESBORO, Ark. – A gas station was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning and Jonesboro police have photos of the culprit behind the crime.

The aggravated robbery happened just down the road from the police station. In the photo, a man can be seen robbing the store in the early morning hours.
Officers were called to the Shell station located at 1325 S. Caraway Road shortly after 1:15 a.m. Saturday morning. The store clerk told police that a masked man armed with a firearm demanded the money from the register and then fled out the north door of the store.
The white male, 5’9″, estimated at 180 pounds, was said to have a sleeve tattoo that appears to end at the wrist on the lower right arm, and on his left hand, has a dark colored tattoo that stretches onto his fingers and knuckles.
Police conducted an on-scene investigation but no arrests have been made as of Wednesday, January 11.
Surveillance video shows the suspect’s vehicle, a red Ford Ranger truck with five spoke chrome rims, pull up to the door on the north side of the store. The vehicle makes a circle around the store to ensure no one is in the store or parking lot. At 1:02 a.m., the suspect is seen pulling his vehicle to the front door, getting out, leaving the door opening, and entering the store.
He goes behind the counter and realizes the cash register is on the other side, so he goes around the counter and engages the clerk. He appears to pull a black pistol out and point it in the clerk’s face. He puts the gun on the counter at 1:03 a.m. and takes off the gloves he was wearing, sticking out his left hand palm up to receive the money.
The suspect then picks up the gun, still aimed at the staff member, and runs back out the door.
As the suspect gets back into his truck, a passenger is seen moving the money back into the center of the vehicle. The passenger is a heavy-set male wearing a black short sleeve shirt. The suspect drops something, then picks it up and drives away.
The vehicle heads back in the direction of Main Street (from Caraway Road), the same direction it arrived from.
