WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The residents of Walnut Ridge had a reason to be thankful last week and it was a busy police force staying hard at work keeping the town clean.
At 4:21 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, Captain Bubba Blackwood and Captain Jordan Cooksey with Walnut Ridge Police Department did a probation search of Brittney Blazer at the 900-block of NW Fifth Street. The report said Blazer had been to the probation office and failed a drug test for meth.
The officers arrived to find three others in the residence – Cheryl Finzel, Trevor Cates and Dillon Lewis. They were all told of a probation search.
Officers searched the residence. Inside of the trash, eight foil boats for smoking meth, two plastic tooter snort tubs and an empty plastic baggie were found. A used syringe was also located inside of an empty mountain dew can.
All four suspects were mirandized and taken into the Lawrence County Jail. The police incident report says all four failed drug tests for meth.
The four each face a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
